Biography
I am a painter who has never attended art school but has sketched and painted for a long time. Workshops, painting with a local painter, even the internet can teach you what you need to know to get started and advance, experimenting with different mediums, styles and techniques. Check out the exhibitions at your local gallery or visit the New York Museum of Modern Art [MOMA], The Paris Pompidou Centre or the Berlin KW Institute for Contemporary Art through their websites.
I am currently using acrylics as they offer me a larger range of interesting techniques than the oils I previously used. I also look for new products to experiment with.
